Sega CD game... help?

In one of the GOAT Store packages recently, we received a game called Novastorm. I have heard of this game for the 3DO, but never for the Sega CD and I was quite surprised to actually receive it. I've now been looking on eBay for about a month for more information on it, and there hasn't been a copy sold. Anybody know anything about this game?

I did a Googles Groups search on Novastorm for the Sega CD and back in 2000, most people were paying $3 or $4 for it so I don't think it's very rare. But I don't have any recent information and it may be scarcer now but probably not.

I have the game, but I'd be hard pushed to tell you how much its worth. I paid quite a bit for it because I got it from an expensive store back when I'd only just found a MegaCD.

 

I can tell you that it's unfairly bundled in with the FMV games when most people talk of its quality. It's basically an Afterburner style game but with a (3D rendered) FMV background, which works really well.

My whole issue with the game is that I can't find it other than for the 3DO, which people have been paying between $6 and $15 ish for. I'm guessing the Sega CD version would be just as rare if not rarer (since no one really wants 3DO games) but... ???

I want 3DO games. Depending on what they are, and I've been planning on getting Novastorm eventually, but there are a lot of other things (for other systems) that I'm planning on getting first (like some Songbird titles). Pr tector: S.E. must come first!!!
