T2KFREEKER #1 Posted August 15, 2007 For those of you interrested, a new frontier is to come to classic gaming, pissed off Video Game store clerks. Yeah, and they are tired of fan boys of the new stuff always bashing the old stuff and they hate hostile takeovers that kill the systems and games that they love. Jaggy The Jaguar is coming in his own comic book, expect him to arrive in October or November. Be prepared to see a new side of gaming and a whole new light to the word "Classic Gamer". Here are some early sketches of a few of the characters as well as a submission I did earlier this year for JSII's Extremist Pack #4. Thanx' to thegrandpubaa for the colors there as he will be coloring the comics covers too! He da' man! Please feel free to leave feedback and let me know what you think! Cheers! minux #10 Posted August 24, 2007 Perhaps, I don't understand exactly what you mean, but who cars that a 360 fan bashes an old Atari system? I look at video games, just like tobacco or alcohol. Sometimes, even though I adore gin, I just don't feel like a Tom Collins and I'll go for a glass of Beam, instead. Sometimes, I don't feel like Bayou Morning Flake, so I'll reach for a Montecristo #1. Video games are just the same way, where sometimes I feel like playing Halo 2 and other times I feel like playing Streets of Rage 2 and still other times I'll feel like playing FInal Fight or, heck, even Tempest 2000. This doesn't mean that the Jag is better than the 360 nor the SNES nor the SG, but rather, it just means they all have their strong suits. In terms of contemporary video games, these last three years have produced some fine games and I think a few of them are, already, classics. Yeah i remember reading it a couple of years ago.. mainly i think its a load of BS though and i don't mean Battlesphere. Just some crap that some guys think 'would' be cool if it were true, but wouldn't really.
Tursi #13 Posted August 24, 2007 Gord has a knack for storytelling, and the embellishment that may go with it, but most of the stories contain more than a grain of truth - I was there for a lot of it. But the page isn't there to be a documentary. It's there to make people chuckle. People who take offense or take the time to denounce it are taking it too seriously. After all... "Acts of Gord"... you expect it to get more serious after that?

As for the "Dick" thing and the Datari logo on JT's tank, nice to see some people notice! You were first to notice it, send me a PM with your shipping information, you just won a cool freebie rsiddall.

Still if he thinks its cool... thats his problem.
