A Sprite #1 Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) Name Tempest 2000 to any Jaguar fan, and you're sure to get a reaction, either it's close to the best reason to grab one, or overrated and a disappointment compared to after market classics like Battlesphere and Protector: SE. Then there's Donkey Kong on Gameboy. Even before the new levels come into play. Mario can throw his hammer - a necessary change in a world where most people aren't out to just score anymore. But how many others are there, that fall underneath the radar? Ms Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Missile Command, Frogger, Dig Dug, Galaga, and Asteroids all have been under the surgeon's knife more than once. What are the best ways to play the classic games, on classic machines... If you're looking for something new? And which are meant to gather dust in the local church charity bins? jboypacman #2 Posted August 15, 2007 Am normally a fan of the originals.I don't get into remakes/redos to much but Tempest 2000 for the Jag is really good and if you can count it as a remake and not a sequel then i would say Galaga 90' for the Turbografx-16 is pretty dang awesome too. 2600Lives #3 Posted August 15, 2007 Agreed, Galaga '90 do indeed kick major portions of ass.
RJ #4 Posted August 15, 2007 Is Galaga '90 the same game as Galaga '88 on the NAMCO 50th Anniv. disc?
