Next-Gen Game Remakes

With all of the Next-Gan Game systems making updated remakes of old games (most of them for Xbox Live), what old games would you like to see be remade for the Next-Gan Game systems? Now me, I would like to see Bump 'N' Jump be remade for the Wii, that was a cool Atari game.

Not hugely old, but I'd love to see the Saturn games, Panzer Dragoon Saga and Burning Rangers remade so that more could experience the greatness, probably on the PSP.

The Crusader: No Regret/Remorse games but only if they kept the third person perspective. There are already too many FPS games out there.

I'd like to see something in the spirit of Jackie Chan's Stuntmaster(PS game) be brought out for the next gen systems. That game was a very fun action game and still is.

Actually, i'd like to see a good version of Independence Day made for the next-gen. The movie needs a good game, the game that came out on saturn and playstation were horrible.

 

I can imagine ID on PS3/360 now, thousands of alien space crafts blasting around on screen in 1080p. The last level would have you flying a space craft into space to blow up the mothership before you head back to earth That would just rule.

THey'd have to rate it teen or higher though. Seeing a skydiver splat in high def would be cool but sorta gross.

I wouldn't mind seeing them try and redo Vectorman again, this time on the PS3 or 360. As long as it doesn't blow, but I've lost so much faith in Sega over the years.

Dark Forces, Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight II would make nice remake candidates.

 

I'd kill for a remake of Metroid II (in the same vein as Metroid Zero Mission on GBA is a remake of the original Metroid on NES).

 

Bionic Commando in 3D would be pretty cool. You can already see what using the Bionic Arm could be like just by playing Zelda Twilight Princess.

Damn straight about the Dark Forces games. They'd kick ass on new consoles. Jedi Outcast proved that.

I think a remake of all 3 Rogue Squadron games mended into one game with online play would actually get me to pay for online gaming.

Metroid 2 is a mystery since it hasnt been done yet. Maybe a cool as hell DS version with maps a la Castlevania

Mine are mostly recent titles that I'd like to see touched up...I'd like to see Metroid Prime 1 & 2 get rereleased with Prime 3's controls. I'd also like to see Okami get released for the Wii and find the audience it deserved. I'd LOVE to see Shadow of the Collosus get remade for the PS3 as the game was great but the hardware of the PS2 really got in the way of the experience (choppy framerate was unbearable in parts).

 

Oh - and Mario Paint Wii/DS!
