The Japanese Look At The Jaguar...

Recommended Posts

Unlike the other game machine, in the design of Jaguar it is difficult to acquire the judgment, either one formal CPU. 68000 has become general-purpose use, but after starting both GPU and DSP because you can use in general purpose, if you see with main CPU standard, 16 bit machine, 32 bit machine and 64 bit machine, each viewpoint is possible.

- Japanese Wikipedia

Translation: The Jaguar, unlike every other system at the time, is a holy trinity of 16 bit, 32 bit, and 64 bit, working together to make the world a better place for all.

Alas, it died for our sins.

Japanese reviews of Jaguar games -

Tempest 2000: "..video drug... ...original and was advanced." The reviewer suggests it inspired Rez.

Defender 2000: "...the trance impression is enormous..." "Without seeing as the game, it is splendid as a work or an art."
