but i think i found out what you need to do

theres the arrows

you gotta follow them to the pieces of things (im gona call them stuffs)

the stuffs you collect and makes the thing to call home thats about what i know

i hear theres a time limit to get to the ship to go home too,

yes it took me almost an entire year to figure this out on my own

without help

Y'know, once you learn how to play, E.T. isnt that bad of a game. I never had any probs. from the start (maybe since I READ THE MANUAL) & could solve it every time.

AM I the only one in the world who had beatin this ET game from DAY 1 of its release? took me 1 min to know how to levitate out of a well as soon as your top side of the well try levitate right, down or left og the hole but never levitate up or down you go again:P

I'd love to see a text version of E.T..

Anyone who falls into the wells that much should probably stick to games like Ms. Pac-Man. People have played the hardest games over the years that required pixel perfect precision if they didn't want to lose a life and have to play the last 5 levels over again, but somehow they can't figure out how to run around a few wells?

 

The text version of the game wouldn't look anything like that if it was based on what someone does who knows how to play.

I totally agree with Random on this. The wells are not that hard to avoid or to get out of. The only screen that would give a problem is the one where there are loads of wells at one time but with care they can be circumnavigated. I think the people who complain about this game being so hard or the worst ever have a very short attention span or are those who just give up too easily
