MrAtari2600 #1 Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) been looking for 2 months believe it or not, I found the system! sure it has a few things wrong, but who says aint fixable i can fix it with the help of geniuses like you guys. i found the arcade machine on ebay, the one i was looking for the type of board, the type of cabinet! not bad condition ( piece missing and buzzes on game boot) And then i asked and he doesn't ship period. and hes in the US -.-' far far from too. Thats really depressing, dont you think? Edited September 10, 2007 by VintageGameCollectorKid
Artlover #2 Posted September 10, 2007 Thats really depressing, dont you think? I suppose so. However, if you suggested having yourself schedule and pay for door-to-door freight pick-up/deliverly, he might go along with it. The reason sellers don't like to ship, particularly big items, is: cost, effort, time, liability, responcibility. They just want someone to come pick it up so they can be over and done with it. I don't blame them.
MrAtari2600 #3 Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) its in california, how would i go and howmuch would it cost to get people to pick it up for him? like can you tell i know NOTHING About anything if onto that lol. i don't know of any moving people, i don't know how to arrange it, and i somehow need to ship it to the border so i can drive myself for half hour and pick it u Edited September 10, 2007 by VintageGameCollectorKid
Artlover #4 Posted September 10, 2007 i don't know of any moving people,i don't know how to arrange it, You guys don't have phone books or truck freight companies up Canada? But seriously, pick up a phone book, look under freight or trucking. Call and ask how much to make a round trip to/from CA, USA. Use the internet too. Google "freight". Or use the internet yellowpages. There is really nothing to it other then telling them what they are picking up, where it is, who they are picking it up from, when to get it, where to deliver it, who to deliver it to, and when to deliver it. Cost? Not a clue, you'de have to call around. Most are based on some weight/size/quanity/mileage formula. But all won't be the same. Before you make the research effort, find out if the seller would accept this first. and i somehow need to ship it to the border so i can drive myself for half hour and pick it up Psst! The border is not an invisible wall. Planes and trucks can pass through it.

SRGilbert #6 Posted September 15, 2007 Did you by chance contact that one Craigslist selling in Lansing yet? His post is still on there so it might be still available. He's got that Metal Slug machine for only $350, and I'd imagine it would have to be a lot cheaper to ship from here than CA! Metal Slug Neo Geo Arcade Game - $
