Just got ColecoVision Fathom

Recommended Posts

Hello,I got my much awaited CV IMAGIC FATHOM today.Dont remember much about the game.I played the first screen where you as the dolphin swim through the sea weed to the bottom. At the bottom there is an awesome ship wreck, guarded bya vicious octopus.Dont know if there is anything to get in the ship, ill have to play more.I know you have to find the 3 pieces of Neptunes trident or something, and rescue his daughter. This version seems awesome, well im off to play more, for those who are not too familiar with the CV version, ill let you guys know more about it as i play.CV versions of IMAGIC games have always been a pleasant surprise for me,as they offer better graphics and added things in the games.

Always wanted CV Fathom. The VCS version rocks. Been looking for the CV cart for years.

IIRC, you fly around and collect the 3 pieces that are scattered on different screens, then carefully swim down past the sharks and jellyfish, through the seaweed to the shipwreck. Avoid the giant octopuss and swim to the maiden on the front of the ship.

Man is this game hard on the fingers when flying as the bird!!!!!!!.This CV version is pretty much the same as the 2600 version, but with nicer more detailed graphics, and instead of the cage, that NEPTINA is trapped in at the bottom of the sea, like in the 2600 version, the CV version has her trapped in a nice shipwreck.Nice eye candy!I am now trying to get all the IMAGIC CV TITLES.
