Why Activision would do such a thing when they don't even have a football game to market now that I have no idea.

Maybe its for a pack-in set that comes with the box game of Activision Football like Superman with a free walet, but never finish it? Had Activision ever thinking of making a football game?

I've seen those, if I remember right, they wer made right around 2000 or so (or that's when our store had them) they had all kinds of logos on them, but I didn't see any Atari (or other game) related ones.

This one was sent out to a game magazine from Activision. What football has to do with the Activision name I will never know.
