Mint boxed VCS, never opened!

Hi, I have a coworker who claims his grandma has a mint condition VCS still in the box, never opened. He wants to know if I want to buy it. Any ideas on what a fair price for such an item might be? I have not seen it, and he has no knowledge of whether it is a heavy sizer, light-sixer or 4 switch.

Depends what model it is and whether it was a promotional unit or not...prices vary really...if it's a six-switch non-promo model, then it probably would fetch over $1,000 on eBay.

A fair price would be around $1000 for a heavy,so if i was you i would offer him $100

Thanks for the info. Its vaporware so far. I will let you know if I ever actually see it. If its a heavy sixer, I definitely want to buy it since I don't own one yet.
