What are the Top Ten best selling games? The story says SMB3 for NES is considered #1, but what are the rest?

Final Fantasy VII - PSX

Goldeneye - N64

GTA: San Andreas- PS2

I highly doubt that Goldeneye outsold Mario 64.

I seem to recall hearing that Mario 64 was selling with N64's at the rate of nearly one for one.

Mostly because for several months of the N64's existence, stores selling the N64 required you to also purchase Mario 64 along with it in order to buy the system.

Not much to contribute though, but I am sure that I heard years ago that Sonic 2 was one of the best sellers ever

Well....I was close on some of my guesses. None of my VCS picks made it up there and Halo 2, instead of Halo, was up there.

 

And damn, Pokemon?! Those games aren't even that fun. I'm chalking that one up to little kids, parents, and crazed Pokemon nuts.

I take that piece of crap Pokemon out of the number 1 spot and put Super Mario 3 , a real game , at numero uno !

No, its True (in the U.S.). I don't about the rest of the world though. But in the U.S. Yes it is. I read the Article in Game Informer Magazine saying it No.1 in the N64 U.S.A. Line up.

Is that chart really accurate? It seems hard to believe Mario Kart 64 sold more than Sonic The Hedgehog.

I don't like that list because they're combining similar games together. I think they should be broken up.
