Tempest #1 Posted September 15, 2007 Is there a page out there that details the differences between Thayer's Quest (arcade) vs. Thayer's Quest (Halycon)? I know I've seen pictures of the Halycon version, but no explanation of exactly what got added. Also, what changed between Thayer's Quest and Kingdom? I know the artwork got completely revamped and some names changed, but is that all? I wonder how close Kingdom 2 is to the original script for Thayer's Quest 2? +Psionic #3 Posted September 15, 2007 Is there a page out there that details the differences between Thayer's Quest (arcade) vs. Thayer's Quest (Halycon)? I know I've seen pictures of the Halycon version, but no explanation of exactly what got added. The only page I know of is the one that was just posted. Also, what changed between Thayer's Quest and Kingdom? I know the artwork got completely revamped and some names changed, but is that all? I believe so...IIRC, the names were supposedly "too 70's"...there was some new animation and puzzles as well. I wonder how close Kingdom 2 is to the original script for Thayer's Quest 2? I'm not sure...should be almost exact, though.
Cassidy Nolen #4 Posted September 15, 2007 Ask around over at the Dragons Lair Project boards. Those laser-heads take that stuff seriously. Big time. My short excusion into Mach 1 territory was well assisted by those guys. They have all the manuals for the hardware scanned, etc. I think that would be a good question for them. I think Jeff is the name of the guy that runs it. C
