fdurso224 #1 Posted September 17, 2007 Does anybody know any Homebrew games for the Neo-Geo AES Console? If you know some or know a place that sells some (besides neo-geo.com) please let me know. Thanks. Anthony...
2600Lives #2 Posted September 18, 2007 I only know of one, and it's only available in rom format. It's a version of pong using the Neo logo for the ball. That's about it as far as I know. I'd imagine the homebrew scene for the Neo is going to be very, very small, as the cost of making those damned cartridges would be way too expensive for your average homebrewer, and they'd have to ask ridiculous prices for the games just to break even. Fortunately, the Neo has an extensive library of super quality games to begin with, so you'll always have something to play.
Atari5200 #3 Posted September 18, 2007 yeah, what you said, even the neo CD doesn't have a homebrew scene and that would be much cheaper to produce. I think the only project really going on now that I'm aware of is converting Samurai Showdown RPG to english.
