Swordquest waterworld, fireworld, eathworld. Trilogy.

Sure, lots of people have. It's much easier than the other two, and in my opinion, much more fun. You can actually figure the damned thing out without a guide, unlike the other two.

I've beathen Earthworld once too. Took all afternoon on a rainy saturday. Ugh...

Well, it was boring as hell, even with the walkthrough. I kept leaving and coming back to it. It's not exactly what you would call riveting. :D

Earthworld and Waterworld are easily beatable in a hour or so. Frieworld is so buggy and hard that you might never beat it.

I actually beat Earthworld back in the day, but i could never beat Fireworld. In fact, i got so frustrated that I took the copy of Fireworld out of my VCS, burned it and buried it in a shallow grave. Unfortunately, I forgot that i had 5 more copies of the game. I think the bargain bin at Kay Bee Toys back in '84 had those games marked down to $ .99 at one point. I have never played Waterworld unfortunately.

So you mean you beat it in an afternoon using the walkthrough? I could never beat EarthWorld on my own.

I don't think anybody beats it without the walkthrough. The item solutions are completely random. Everybody gets a few of them, but getting all of them pretty much took the hint list from Atari.

It's not that great. When you beat it, you get a shot of the title again, and then find a new object, the warriors sword (the same one you have in fireworld) in your inventory. It doesn't seem to do anything though.

That's the problem I had with EarthWorld. FireWorld, on the other hand, can be beat without a walkthrough, because the item solutions do follow a specific pattern-- there are always four objects in one room, and one object in another room. Plus if you add the clue number to the number of the room it's in, the sum is always the same.
