Robert M #1 Posted September 23, 2007 Hello, My daughter has a DS Lite and I recently obtained a copy of Ham-Ham Heartbreak for the GBA. She likes the game, but the problem is that it will not save. The game says it is saved, but if the DS it powered down, the saved game is lost. Is this a known problem for DS Lites playing GBA games? Is there a way to make the save function work? All I can find online are obscure references to flash or SRAM cards that plug into slot one on the the DS and act like a cuttlecart 2. Any ideas? Atariboy #2 Posted September 24, 2007 Its a bad cartridge, the save function is broken. You'd have to replace the cartridge to make it work.

Thanks, I just opened the cartridge, and I see it has a battery inside of it. I found a website that talkss about replacing the battery in GBA carts. I will give that a try. Cheers! +Lynxer2007 #4 Posted September 24, 2007 (edited) Where did you buy the game from? I used to have a game(Yoshi's Island GBA, bought it online) where it wouldn't save my progress and the cartridge turned out to be a bootleg copy of the game. Atariboy #5 Posted September 24, 2007 (edited) Happened to me with copies of Mario Kart Super Circuit and Metroid Zero Mission bought online from EB. Checked it out and the label wasn't glossy, was slightly crooked, didn't have the letters/numbers pressed into the front label, and they didn't fit quite right into GBA carridge slots. Bootleg copies Edited September 24, 2007 by Atariboy

I picked it up at a local used game store. I think it is just old and the battery died. Cheers!
