visyli
We finally got around making that 30 year celebration demo I've had in mind whole year. This time featuring some 3d effects, two tunes and a whole lot of nice raster effects Also, this seems to work on both Stella and Z26 flawlessly, so you're not really missing out on anything if you don't have the real hw. Of course, real hardware is ALWAYS nicer http://www.cs.uta.fi/~vp79799/3lb_tricade.zip http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=32203 Edited September 25, 2007 by visyli

Impaler_26
This demo rocks! With every new demo you're coming closer to C64-quality (and i love those raster effects!). Looking forward to see more from you guys!

CrazyChris
Hi, I've been kind of curious about this. What is the 3lb.nfo file? I've seen this with other demos. Does the z26 emulator use it for anything? Thanks, Chris

Does the z26 emulator use it for anything? Thanks, Chris It's an info file that tells some details about the production. The emulators do not (of course) use it for anything. almightytodd
Will someone here PLEASE screen-capture this and upload it to YouTube so I can share it with my friends who are mildly interested in the VCS, but not enough to install Stella, and then configure it to play PAL with 2-channel sound? My wussie "celery" CPU machine won't capture the audio and video simultaneously, and the AVI file resulting from a video-only capture is over 30 Meg using the freeware capture software I have. This demo is SO COOL!
yuppicide
That was pretty amazing! Makes me think of my old C64 days where I used to hack demos and use demo making software almost on a daily basis. I would try to hunt down as many "demo makers" as I could. I had my C64 custom modified with dual SID chips so I could get double the sounds out of it. I'd love to see a game made out of some of the things you're doing.
