+Psionic #2 Posted September 25, 2007 i amlooking for prices atm for both of the systems, Odyssey 1 & 2 If u know a price range shoot me it id appreciate it, Preferrebly boxed by the way, About $100 for a boxed original Odyssey...though a 100% complete one will go for more (and will be hard to locate). About $30-$40 (or less) for a boxed Odyssey 2. SECOND QUESTION!the odyssey 1 uses overlays on your screen, i noticed this, Uhm but what if my tv isn't that size? Or how would i go about playing it ? It comes with 2 copies of each overlay (one small, one large)...either one is bound to fit most TVs. If not, deal with it.
MrAtari2600 #3 Posted September 26, 2007 (edited) lol. xD I wondering if i can print up my own THing is I think i need a sticky one, Seeing as the vectrex printup overlays have a little area to hold it in, Unlike my dads 40" HD tv lol hmm I think ill get an odyssey 2 once this next bill comes in! 75% paycheck goes towards airfare, seeing as i need it SOON as possible, But i think it can wait seeing as i don't want to care about it right now Or think... -.-''' unhappy.... anyways,, IM gona try to find a boxed odyssey 2 I going to go do some research on it too! so i know, EDIT: Ok well I found some things, and never knew they tried for the 2600 thats cool! i researched the carts up No cart scans or anything sadly. there is a screenshot, Probe 2000, wierd name. anyways, I got paid last friday so the friday after this one coming up, Next paycheck = Odyssey. I was amazed and the size of the list of games. Its small but i figured since the 2600 dominated those years, that it had an issue with the amount of games. Be cool to own the collection of released games I wonder what size are the overlays, so i know what sort of tv o.o' and then i can makeup my own overlays and ill make my tv hold one! * takesout hammer and chisel* Edited September 26, 2007 by VintageGameCollectorKid
sciarpo #4 Posted September 29, 2007 To save money on the Odyssey2 get the multicart. It has every game for less than $50. Though it is cool to have the original games too. Especially the complete complete strategy games. You can get complete systems in great shape from 4jays, including the voice at a reasonable price.
