four, yes FOUR Space Invaders-songs

I downloaded some MP3s today, one of them consisting of the Taito arcade version of Space Invaders. The band is called "Conceputol".

 

I now have a grand total of FOUR songs praising Space Invaders, made roughly around the same time.

 

Player One - Space Invaders: A cheap, simple Italo disco song with some sound FX from the arcade.

The Pretenders - Space Invaders: A fun instrumental that has the arcade FX at the end.

Uncle Vic - Space Invaders: A doctor demento tune, with sound FX that's a bit more comical.

Conceputol - Space Invaders: A Devo-like song that actually has lyrics about the game(bonus saucer, shields, etc). This one's all art-housey. Plays a bit of "Computer games" by Mi-Sex.

 

 

Screw Buckner & Garcia. The above-4 mentioned songs are better than anything they put out.

 

Now I'm curious what else is out there for video-game related songs that are NOT by B&G.
