ApolloBoy #1 Posted September 27, 2007 (edited) I was going to post this in the old gameroom thread but I can't find it, so I thought I might as well post the pics here. I'll see if I can take some overall pics as well to give a better perspective of the room. Edited September 27, 2007 by ApolloBoy
Ghost Soldier #2 Posted September 27, 2007 Very clean and non-cluttered game room. Love the shelf's that the game consoles rest on.

Matt Fisher #5 Posted September 27, 2007 Love the synths. Love the synths as well! I've got a Jupiter 6 and a CZ-1000 in my game/music/TV/man room. Just love that early 80's technology...
MrAtari2600 #6 Posted September 28, 2007 WHAT IS THAT inside of your master system xD
ApolloBoy #7 Posted September 28, 2007 WHAT IS THAT inside of your master system xD It's a cartridge converter. I have a Japanese SMS, which has a totally different cartridge pinout, so I can't play American or European SMS games without the converter.
bones #8 Posted September 28, 2007 Is that an honest-to-goodness Twin Famicom in the first picture? I picked up one a couple of months ago, but still haven't worked up the nerve to plug it in. May need to ask you a couple of lame questions about the power supply
godslabrat #9 Posted September 28, 2007 I really like the blend of old/new techs... using the flashback and SNES2 alongside the XEGS. Very creative use of space (I'm imagining you don't have much room to work with. Though with all those awesome DVDs, why the hell are you watching some skank on TV? ApolloBoy #10 Posted September 28, 2007 May need to ask you a couple of lame questions about the power supply The power supply is pretty strange; it's rated at 7.6V DC, tip positive. I actually don't have the official power supply, I use a PC Engine power supply with a different tip spliced on and reversed polarity.
ApolloBoy #11 Posted September 28, 2007 I really like the blend of old/new techs... using the flashback and SNES2 alongside the XEGS. Very creative use of space (I'm imagining you don't have much room to work with. Though with all those awesome DVDs, why the hell are you watching some skank on TV? Actually, it's a 7800 next to the SNES, not a Flashback. You'd be right about the lack of space. My room is actually one of the smallest in the house and I'm running out of places to plug in things. I should've taken a pic of the wiring... And I would've had a DVD on instead of Hilary Clinton (I was watching the Democratic presidental debate), except I don't have a DVD player hooked up (used to, though). BassGuitari #13 Posted September 29, 2007 Very clean and non-cluttered game room. Love the shelf's that the game consoles rest on. I'll second that. Those are exactly what I need, actually. Where did you get those? They're kinda snazzy.

Rik #16 Posted September 29, 2007 That looks like a heavy sixer you have there,on the shelf beside the 5200, wish i could just reach in and grab it!
ApolloBoy #17 Posted September 29, 2007 That looks like a heavy sixer you have there,on the shelf beside the 5200, wish i could just reach in and grab it! It is, although it doesn't work properly. Once I send it off to A.J. Franzman for repairs I'll consider hooking it up.
shadow460 #18 Posted September 29, 2007 Nice game room, certainly better than the corner of my apartment that is loaded with games and consoles. Now hurry up and get that Heavy into good hands (A.J.'s) and git to gamin'!
Rik #19 Posted October 2, 2007 (edited) Looks like DAVID CRANE'S signature on the PITFALL 2 cart, did you get the PITFALL 2 signed by him yourself? Edited October 2, 2007 by Rik
ApolloBoy #20 Posted October 3, 2007 Looks like DAVID CRANE'S signature on the PITFALL 2 cart, did you get the PITFALL 2 signed by him yourself? Yep, I actually bought Pitfall II at CGE a few months ago and he happened to be there when I met Garry Kitchen, so I had him sign it.
ApolloBoy #21 Posted October 3, 2007 I did some reorganizing yesterday along with the additions of my new model 1 SNES, Heavy Sixer and (finally) a DVD player, so I took some new pics of the room earlier today. I also took some more pics of the room itself, as well as the rat's nest of wiring for all my systems.
ApolloBoy #22 Posted October 3, 2007 The rest of the pics:
MFoolsRun #23 Posted October 3, 2007 (edited) Dude, get yourself some of these. They saved my life when I was wiring my gameroom in my new house, and they're velcro, so they can be reused if you ever reorganize (or find that you did something wrong in your first wiring attempt. I re-did mine about four times before I was happy with it). Edited October 3, 2007 by MFoolsRun
