Who is Zarate?

I looked in Programmers(and maybe I scanned too quick) but didn't find him. I have someone interested in selling me carts. signed by "Zarate" but have no clue who that is :sad: ...any enlightening feedback would be appreciated,thanks!

There is a guy on this other trading site that has Atari 2600 games FT and some of them he said were "signed by Zarate".

WTF is that? :? LOL

Close, but you're misquoting me. I wrote that they're autographed by Zarate. :P

 

Anyway, it's a joke. Zarate is probably just some Gen-X'er who wrote his name on them as a kid back when he got them. Funny thing is, I bought them in a thrift store and mere days later I spotted more carts in an eBay lot from halfway across the country also with "ZARATE" sharpie'd on them.

WHAT? What does Star Raiders have to do with this.

 

I keep wanting to believe you're thinking Oscar Zarate who is an Illustrator, and illistrated several space & science publications (amung other things), except there is no connection between him and Atari, Star Raiders, or DC Comics (who did the Star Raiders comics for Atari). :ponder:

 

The hours I wasted following this guy's history. :|

LMAO...I have googled,yahooed,etc. this guys name and found nothing,no wonder...guess the jokes on me! :D
