rheffera #1 Posted October 1, 2007 ...Are Surprisingly Entertaining Games. Much More entertaining than the likes of FROGGO games, Although Alligator People is a bit monotonous, Kabobber is Quite Entertaining to me, Fast Paced Game of Kill or Be killed. It lacks that certain something but i don't understand why activision canned it. How Does everybody else find these two repro / Unreleased games? MagMax667 #2 Posted October 1, 2007 While I'm not all that fond of Alligator People, I'm absolutely addicted to Kabobber. The game is complete and polished, and extremely fun and challenging. I believe that the game was supposed to be released in 1983, right about the time of the crash, but Activision continued to release games in 1984, and even 1985 (Ghostbusters, I think) so it's odd that they wouldn't release Kabobber. On the other hand, maybe it was just a bit too oddball. When the entire industry is struggling, even a company like Activision which thrives on creativity, will only release games that will be commercially successful. It's a shame, really. I think Kabobber has become one of my favorites on the system, along with Saboteur, another unreleased classic.
jboypacman #3 Posted October 1, 2007 Played Kabobber on the PS2 Activision collection and thought it was ok and own Alligator People and am not really a big fan of it.
PressureCooker2600 #4 Posted October 1, 2007 Love Kabobber. Only have it right now on the PS2 collection but eventually I'll want to get a repro of it in an Activision cart.
