neotokeo2001 #1 Posted October 2, 2007 Just picked up Drawn To Like today. I didn't know what to expect but this game is a very nice surprise. Turns out it is a side scrolling platform game with a little town building RPG bolted on. The really cool twist is that you actually create your own graphics for your player. It can be anything that has a head, arms and legs. It even has templates to trace if you can't come up with anything. I made my player into an alien thing. It looks really cool when it animates on the DS. This game is in no way as good as a Mario game but it has a unique charm that (Draws) you in. Along the way it even lets you draw set pieces that you need (Clouds, Spring Platforms, Etc..). I won't go into any details to spoil it for anyone. Anybody else pick it up yet? It looks like it may be a hard game to find. GameStop had 4 copies and I got the last one.
neotokeo2001 #2 Posted October 2, 2007 I really hope you guys don't miss out on this game. I am now on World 3 and the game just keeps getting better.
pmpddytim #3 Posted October 3, 2007 I got it but didn't care for it at all. Drawing your character was pretty cool but the game itself left me kinda bored. I felt it was a sub standard platformer with a few cool touches trying to make you forget that the game itself sucked. I wouldn't say don't get it but I would either try before you buy or get it used. I'm seeing it everywhere I go, so its not too rare at least in Central OK. -Tim
Gregory DG #4 Posted October 3, 2007 Played it for a little bit. Seemed kinda dull to me.
