SAVETHEPAST #1 Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) Does anybody have any information on this version of trick shot for the 2600. The label is not listed anywhere. Edited October 4, 2007 by SAVETHEPAST
Dauber #2 Posted October 4, 2007 Does anybody have any information on this version of trick shot for the 2600. The label is not listed anywhere. There's a good reason: someone named Steve stuck that label on there; probably when he was 10 years old. I remember those stickers from the '80s; they came in different names, just like little license plates.

Retro Rogue #7 Posted October 4, 2007 That's a super rare cartridge. Little known story, Imagic used to use child labor for manufacturing their cartridges. For about the first few weeks in operation they used stickers like that for quality control tags until someone came up with the idea to stamp "QC" and an id number on the PCB inside instead. I've got another rare one with crayon on it, another one with their limited edition garbage pail kids labels, and an additional one with cat piss from when they experimented with cats running the case stamping machine.

+else #12 Posted October 4, 2007 It's obvious what you need to do next: You need to track down Steve and give it back to him!
phaxda #13 Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) I have for sale this rare "Turmoil" label variation--I have heard that when game companies were going under, they used child labor to save on printing costs. I believe this is a rare example of this work and expert handwriting analysis has determined that the fine 20th Century Fox artist "Timmy" was responsible for this finely-preserved authentic end label. I was lucky enough to pick it up in a lot on eBay! Bidding starts at $100.00 for this AUTHENTIC "Timmy Turmoil." PAYPAL ONLY! +else #14 Posted October 4, 2007 By the way, to answer your question is indeed SUPER rare. In fact, think you can safely assume it is the only one like that in world.* *Of course, just because it's rare doesn't mean it's valuable. People often confuse rare with valuable.... kidnicky #16 Posted October 4, 2007 My copy of Mouse Trap says "Joey M." on it in marker, and I believe my friend has a cart or two from the same Joey M.! (We shop at the same game store.) I kind of like stuff like this,to tell you the truth. Adds a little character! We aren't baseball card collectors,we're game players! As long as it works and it isn't actually dirty, who cares? Jek #23 Posted October 5, 2007 (edited) May I add my one-of-a-kind Cosmic Ark label variation? It is called "U.F.O. Scheiße" (UFO shit) German version... Quelle perhaps ??? This is a good example, why videogames do NOT have to come into children´s hands. They are evil ! (the children of course - not the games >:-) Edited October 5, 2007 by Jek
