MFoolsRun #1 Posted October 6, 2007 I'm a Mac user, so currently I use Delicious Library to keep track of my collection, but I'm wondering what other people use? Delicious is a fantastic program, but it's payware, and it lacks a few features that would be nice, like exporting to HTML (or something else portable) and tracking multiple copies of a game. raindog151 #2 Posted October 8, 2007 I've been using Gamepedia from bruji.com, cost 18 bucks and works great. Does all sorts of great stuff, exports to HTML, lets you keep a tally of 'borrowed' games, a wishlist, and the best part, uses the builtin camera to scan UPC codes and grabs the data from Amazon. Worth every penny for me.
zeropolis79 #3 Posted October 8, 2007 I'm planning on using Microsoft Access to build my database of software. I used it to make a simular database of VHS tapes I had about 10 years ago..
MFoolsRun #4 Posted October 8, 2007 It surprises me that there doesn't seem to be an Open Source or Free Software solution for collection/shelf management. It's becoming more popular these days, since Delicious Library showed everyone that it could look cool and be functional, so you'd think someone would have jumped on it by now. Atari5200 #5 Posted October 8, 2007 (edited) i use the price guide in the back of the Classic Game collector magazine, i mark down what I have and just keep it with me when I go hunting to make sure i don't buy dupes. Works good except for label variants. Edited October 8, 2007 by Atari5200

2600Lives #7 Posted October 8, 2007 I use Cart Commander. It's a really flexible program, and you can enter a lot of details about each cart/game.
Impaler_26 #8 Posted October 8, 2007 (edited) I'm using Crimson Editor, good enough to keep track of my small collection. Edited October 8, 2007 by Impaler_26
