super_dos_man #51 Posted November 24, 2007 Dragon's Lair for nes is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. (unless you memorize the whole game and so on). The game had outstanding graphics for nes though.
Tempest #52 Posted November 24, 2007 Dragon's Lair for nes is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. (unless you memorize the whole game and so on). Sigh... What did I just say? And for the record, I did beat DL for the NES back in the day. Tempest
fdurso224 #53 Posted November 29, 2007 Wasn't one of the Battletoads games unbeatable? Battletoads was Tough. But Blaster Master for the NES was Excruciating. The most difficult game for the library. Anthony....
kevincal #54 Posted November 29, 2007 Has Duck Hunt been mentioned? I'm pretty sure that goes on for infinity... Pinball for the NES, pretty sure you just keep playing until you are out of balls. No real ending, just play for a highscore. I'm sure a ton of NES and older games have no endings.
Asaki #55 Posted November 29, 2007 Has Duck Hunt been mentioned? I'm pretty sure that goes on for infinity... There's tons of arcade style games that just go on and on, didn't figure those would count... But I think Duck Hunt does count for something, if this isn't just the emulator:

workingstiff #59 Posted November 30, 2007 Back in the day, I got really far into the Tie-Fighter PC CD-Rom game before it glitched and wouldn't let me continue or load a save. Anybody else have this problem?
A.J. Franzman #60 Posted November 30, 2007 Back in the day, I got really far into the Tie-Fighter PC CD-Rom game before it glitched and wouldn't let me continue or load a save. Anybody else have this problem? I haven't played that far into TIE Fighter yet, but I know I've been unable to win the very last mission in X-Wing -- I think because my CPU is too fast, and something in the mission never activates when it should. I had a similar problem in an earlier mission, but using Mo'slo and cranking the percentage way down let me get by it. However, since that time I've started using DOSbox for a different game (Pirates! Gold), and it works extremely well. So, I think if I reconfigure my install of X-Wing to work thru DOSbox, it should work right.
Asaki #61 Posted November 30, 2007 ...I think because my CPU is too fast, and something in the mission never activates when it should. I used to have the same thing happen in Space Quest IV >_< I only ended up beating it because of a glitch that let me skip past the guards.
