Whats a boxed AES Neo Geo Gold system worth?

Have one, am considering selling it and a second joystick with memory card and 7 carts (all boxed). Any idea on value? The games are the common ones (Samurai Shodown 2, Blues Journey, Nam, Ghost Pilots, Riding Hero, you get the idea). All complete, all in good shape. I think the market is cool on this system right now....any ideas?

Is it US or Japan? That makes a difference in price. Also the serial number makes a difference to some Neo collectors, lower is better. I know there is a guy that sells the Japan ones for $179 with one controller but you have to pay for shipping from Japan which isn't cheap. I sold mine (regretfully) for $450 with 2 controllers and 6 common games (no system box) last summer if that helps.

I did see the US ones are more...aren't they the same inside the box?....bizarre This is the US model, all the games are US too. Thanks for the ballpark. I think I'll be in the 500 range with this one. We sold Tempest's one a few years back for about that money (loose with games) but the times are changing....

Yeah... not that long ago a member from AA here sold me an low serial Jap AES, Neo CD, 1 controller, 1 controller adapter, 3 AES games, 1 Neo CD game, all the hookups for... $250 shipped... One of the better deals I've had here in my opinion

 

I would also say fair market value is $400 for your lot in my opinion... don't think you'll get too many people jumping at that right away though I'd say the system would go for $150, Extra controller $50 and games like $20-$25 a piece for commons and maybe like $30 for the memory card

 

I love the Neo... just hate the prices for the good games... I have mine on display but rarely play it due to having an MVS where I can get games for $10-$20 a pop instead of $100's lol
