Stuck in DS zelda

Recommended Posts

I'm stuck in the ghost ship in Zelda. I'm at the part where you need to pull the five switches in a certain order. I pulled the levers in the order the game and the guide said, and nothing happened. this is a great game and i would really like to get past this part. please help.

Thank you very much, the second walk-through provided the proper sequence for pulling levers. Which is odd, cause it was a different order than both the superguide AND THE GAME provided for me. They both said to use 2-4-5-1-3, but that didn't work, the sequence that worked on mine was: counting from left to right: 4, 1, 5, 2, 3., hope this helps someone else out. but thank you again, i was getting quite frustrated.

Matt

PS, what a great game

This is exactly the point where I stopped playing last night. I pulled the levers in the order the game said assuming switch #1 was on the far left. Nothing. I pulled them in the reverse order (since there seems to be a "do the opposite" theme in the ghost ship). Nothing. I then assumed switch #1 was on the far right and pulled them in order then in reverse. Nothing! I hate going resorting to FAQs, especially this early in the game. I'll try the 4,1,5,2,3 combo and see if that works. I wonder what the rationale is?

Yeah, I concur: great game

EDIT: The 4,1,5,2,3 combo worked. Weird.

yeah, no idea why the code the game ACTUALLY GAVE didn't work. . .but glad that code helped you. I was frustrated beyond belief, hope it gave you some piece of mind.

It works, you just have to think of it in an unconventional way. I was stuck there forever too.

The code does work and is correct.

it is 2 4 5 1 3

this means that you pull the fourth switch 1st, the first switch 2nd,

the fifth switch 3rd , the second switch 4th and the third switch 5th.

not too hard...........

*smack's forehead* I was reading it as "pull the 2nd lever 1st, the 4th lever 2nd, the 5th lever 3rd, etc." thus trying to figure out "well, which one is the FIRST lever?" then trying all combinations forward and backward.

Now I'm deep into the Ocean King's temple, saving seconds like homebrewers save bytes...

The picture on the wall indicates that you have to start at the top and draw the left edge of the triforce first. That much is true. I figured you had to draw it without overlapping any lines but it turns out that's not the case (it didn't work for me, at least). I could also never get it to work when I drew the entire triforce. Strangely, it worked when I was in the middle of drawing the inner triangle (I never got to finish!). It just cut me off and switched to the door opening screen. I guess the only advice I can give is to take your time and draw it slowly and be as accurate as possible.

thanks, i finally made it.

I had to go back to the blacksmith, and talk to him again... (i did this before, but i guess the game didn´t like that i saved and restarted before entering the temple)

then the Triforce worked! :)

fantastic game, btw.

One of the best on the DS!
