Hooked on Q*Bert

I just got Q*Bert (CV) in the mail today, and now, I can't get enough of the game. I also played the Atari version, and though many people hate it, I think it's pretty fun.

I also heard that there was a Q*Bert 3 on the SNES. Is that any good?

Q*Bert is great, I also have the cart for the gameboy.

I personally think that SNES Q*Bert 3 is the best version ever of this game. There are some great new features, like multiple pyramids that you must transport between, new enemies, new layouts etc. The swirling psychedelic backgrounds are also pretty cool.

 

I think Q*Bert 3 is probably the best game out of all the 'classic updates' there have been, as it's true to the original but adds enough new ideas to keep things interesting.

Q*Bert was great on the 2600, great on the Colecovision, good on the NES, great on the SNES...

 

Just as a warning though, Q*Bert for the Dreamcast is one of the Dreamcast's biggest stinkers. You can't see where you are going, and the game just isn't fun. I was hoping for so much more out of that game after having loved all of the other incarnations of it.
