Anyone Played Beautiful Katamari Yet?

Its really a piece of cake to get 100% on the big level. Just roll up the black hole...Instant 100%.

You'll need to be about 1,000,000 km in size. This is no problem if you've been replaing the levels trying to get 100%. Everytime you create a planet, whether you beat your last score or not, the planet shows up in the solar system the next time you vist. In fact you must do this to get 100% collection since the other planets you create all have new names and are considered unique.

 

 

So...wait... In one level i got 100 on my first try. So do i have to go back and do *worse* in the level to get the other planet names?

 

I don't think it matters how you do, as long as you get them all. If you do better, that new one will move into the #1 and the last one you made will move into the #2 slot. If you notice when you finish it'll say like 2nd Offside Venus or 4th Deep Neptune you have to get all those 1st, 2nd, 3rd versions of the same planet....however many there are. Eventually when you complete the request, it'll stop making just planets (or whatever) and ask if you want to make a star or stardust. I think at that point you have em all. Just go back into space and roll em up. You also make planets in the co-op that are unique, so if you want 100%, you have to do those as well. Not sure if there are multiple versions of planets there also. I'd have to play through them again and see I guess. Didn't think about that. I guess I'll try that tonight.

Edit : Yep there's different versions of the Co-Op planets as well. What was weird was they didnt have names like 2nd Rip Off Cherry Planet, when I made them, It just said 2nd Cherry Planet, so I was thinking that there wasn't different versions, but then when I got into space they had unique names. Here's the thing tho, I DON'T think they count towards the collection. I just went and checked and even though they show up rainbow colored when i rolled them up...There is no space for them in the collection (Look in the gunball machine tree) There is only one of each, so as long as you have it once, you should be Ok...Unless I'm missing where they show up.

Just rolled up 100% of the collection!

WOOOT!

 

I'd say I got my moneys worth out of this game even paying the full $39.99, been rolling like a mad-man.
