Any Thrillville fans out there?

Just picked up Thrillville: Off The Rails for my wife the other day.

 

Got myself on the leaderboards!! (50 gamer points).

 

The game is Wild Frontier. Scores (454800, and 435383 respectively) for the misses and I.

 

Probably a first for me. Although I expect them to be wiped off fairly quickly.

i wasnt sure if this was a good game or not...What do you think? i want to get it, but havent heard much about it...Is is sort of like theme park?

How much like the original Thrillville is this one?

 

Does it still have all the stupid mini games/quests, like trash/puke cleanup and dancing for the crowds? Wasn't crazy about that junk. Or the overall sim aspect. I know it's supposed to be a sim, but I really wish these games came with like a freeplay option where everything ran itself and you just built rides and watched people ride them.

Yeah it has all the stupid training mini-games. Aside from those ones the other mini-games are kinda fun. They also have some stupid flirt with a peep and hook-up peep's part when you talk to the peeps. One of the biggest complaints in all the reviews I have read was about this inane social interaction system. Yet it seems Frontier took it upon themselves to further refine it. Thus turning it into a Sims at the amusement park TM.

 

Regardless. I have not played the two enough to know how different they are. My wife did say something about being able to see the other sections of the park in this one compared to the other one. Plus the peeps actually talk.

 

The game seems to focus more on the social/interactive part of running a park and less on the sim/management side of things.

I mostly hated the one on the regular Xbox. I've never been completely satisfied with any amusement park game I have played, starting with the one on the 3DO, but Thrillville was the worst one I have played so far.
