Quadrun was sold prior to these auctions and the spare Donald Duck Speedboat is being held for a friend.

Wonder isn't an automatic win. He missed out on the Dumbo box just like this one I sold a few months back.

Why are you so excited about this guy troyzgames? He's won a few big money items, no question...but he doesn't appear to be a primary 2600 collector. He didn't even bid.

 

I was the second highest bidder on the DD Speedboat promo box...my snipe of $577 didn't go through because Wonder had already raised the price to $585 when my bid was entered. When I realized he was bidding, I knew I wouldn't win...I bid $381 just for the hell of it on Dumbo and was easily outbid numerous times. Such is life. Congrats Wonder.

I know...I was watching that auction. If I had to make a wager, I'd bet that guy is a pure speculator who's just hoarding stuff. Like I said, he's not even an Atari collector. Look at his bid history...all sealed SNES, N64 and PSX junk...and some pocketwatches. Only 2600 stuff he has bought is uber-rares like Mangia', X-Man, and a few protos/Xante carts.

I am glad I got these boxes...they will make nice companions to the ORIGINAL proto carts I have of them. They will also look nice next to my other original proto boxes I own (all Star Wars boxes...Game #1 and #2), Rush Hour, Halloween and other original proto boxes I own.
