rheffera #1 Posted October 29, 2007 Last night me and a long lost mate got together for a beer drinking contest after 8 years of no contact and we got halfway through a carton when i introduced him to Stella. He was eager to give it a go and said he thought it was great that i got enjoyment out of old games. i said something like : "If the game was good back in the 1980's, Why shoudn't it still be good today? Has the actual game changed in 20 years since? NO". Anyway, the first game i pulled out to play was medieval Mayhem by SpiceWare. I coudn't find my good paddles and i had one too many to care. So i got the jittery paddle. We had had enough so we really coudn't focus, and had to play on the kids level we played on doubles, and i did well despite having a seriously messed up paddle. Anyways, THANK YOU SPICEWARE for providing fantastic entertainment for aforementioned contest. can someone point me to a thread for paddle / driving controller repair? i got heaps of paddles i could fix up with a little know how. +SpiceWare #3 Posted October 29, 2007 Thanks! If you want to make my day even better, add a review to the Atari Age store I'd recently run across a site with really detailed instructions and photos on cleaning the paddles. Thought I'd bookmarked it, but guess not . Here's a post with a few pictures. Click each picture for a larger image. Takes a little bit of effort, but the results are worth it.
