Sam and Max - Season 2

...starts in just a few days. Episode 1-2 will be released via Gametap on Nov. 8, with the next one being available on January 10. I for one can't wait. I played through the entire first season, and holy crap was that some fun, old-school adventure gaming. This time, they're gonna add features, like allowing Sam to run (finally), and having NPC's that actually get up and walk and interact with the world. Let's hope they can maintain the high writing quality of the first season!

Gametap has been releasing the Sam & Max games as a series. Last season had six episodes (games) that had a story line that finished with episode six. They came out around one game per two months. The second season will have five episodes. Season 2, episode 2 will come out in Jan 08.

You buy each episode from either Gametap or the Telltale games website (which is what I did). If you bought all of them during the season, you get a free compilation DVD (with TONS of extras) for just the shipping cost. I'm a Sam and Max junkie, so I'll scoop up every tidbit they toss to us!

I bought Sam and Max Season 1 retail. Gametap is worth supporting (unlike a certain company that makes only Star Wars games ) - the Sam and Max series are very refreshing adventures to play.
