8th lutz #1 Posted November 8, 2007 (edited) http://gonintendo.com/?p=29011 EA has revealed just how much in sales they made on a platform by platform basis. The 360 came out on top with $218 made. The established nature of the platform surely drove software sales. The Wii managed to pull in $59 million, while the DS did $49 million. Comparatively, the PSP managed $21 million and the PS3 $17 million. I don't know how how they made on the ps 2. I understand the lack money being Ea getting from Ps 3. I am a bit shocked with the psp. The psp a good amount of systems sold despite being being the ds in sales. This tells me psp consumers are getting smart with ea sports game or they got the same game on another game console. The wii numbers aren't to bad with the amount of ea games are on the system. 360 is not a big shock. The 360 is the best for online gaming and sports games are at their best online playing against another person. Ea sports games aren't great when they are exclusive. Ea claiming they have the best Nascar game out there when they are the only ones allowed to produce a nascar game. Ea's quality went down with Nascar games to the point they only sold 200,000 copies on all platforms the game was for combined. What happen with the sales is poor quality and how good online gaming is for the game systems. Edited November 8, 2007 by 8th lutz
Atari5200 #2 Posted November 8, 2007 it's hard for me to buy another EA sports title after the fiasco I've had with Madden 06 for PSP. Haven't bought an EA game for my PSP since. going on almost 2 years.
