Please Help

I am trying to use atari800winplus4 and I keep getting a message "The parameter is incorrect" when i try to open autoboot image. please help I would like to play some of my childhood games. I have loaded all the roms I think. If I explore the game files they show the atari symbol but will not open or play. I have tried all the machine types and basic on and off. Confused. Thank You for any help. I am using windows xp pro.

If you can't get it working, you might try Xformer 2000 instead (link below). If you'll look just past the pics on the page, there are instructions for installing and using.

I am using the XL/XE mode and it seems to work fine. Are you talking about running XEX and ATR games from the explorer window? Have you tried right clicking file and selecting "open with" then choosing the atari emulator?

 

However from what you say it seems the emu may not be configured properly. In the emu, under the "Atari" menu option select "ROM options" and point it to where your rom files are stored. If it still doesn't work it may be your ROM files are wrong. PM me if you want help on BIOS ROM files.
