+Roydea6 #2 Posted November 10, 2007 Hi, Files have to be local and not networked or on CD player. Hard drive or floppy is ok. Also read the HELP file, lots of good information found there. Good Luck

But, later, when I initialized my file associations, the problem returned. The only way I could get it to work, was by clearing all the settings again, and leaving the files un-associated. dwhyte #4 Posted November 10, 2007 Atari800Win is alright, but for a more "authentic" feel to your menus, just use atari800, or atari++. atari800 is the more compatible of the two, but atari++ has some nice sounding high-speed SIO sounds, something that's broken in A800Win and A800, but working flawlessly under Atari800MacX (minus the high-speed, and you need a Mac)... I find that Atari800Win mysteriously crashes every now and then for me. The window just closes itself without any notice of 'send' or 'don't send' crash report to M$. So now I tend to just use Atari800MacX on my Mac, or atari800 & atari++ on my Linux box, or my 130XE hooked up to the Mac via tv capture adapter, or have all 4 running depending on how busy I am with my Wizardry conversion.... I only use Windoze nowadays to copy dvd's... I mean... legally back-up DVD's that I own... arrrr... Besides which, Atari800Win is based upon an older version of atari800.
