If you have a bunch of Common Atari & Activision Carts that are in swell condition, and intrigued to sell them to me. Just whistle, I need to built a sizable library of my Atari 2600. Thanks. DarthCalvin #3 Posted November 12, 2007 You should probably expect to spend at least a couple bucks each. I really only see Combat and E.T. for 50 cents each, and that's only occasionally. I would recommend buying a "lot" on ebay. Might be a couple of doubles but you save on shipping. Chopper Commander would probably be $4-5 at minimum off the top of my head. Anthony.... It's funny, I had the same outlook as you when I was 1st looking @ getting back into the system. Went to a garage sale & bought a bunch of commons for a quarter each. I quickly found out that the garage sale scenario is pretty much the only situation you'll find Atari games that cheap. As I expand my collection more I've gotten the view that $1.50 for an ultra-common cart is a pretty darn good deal. Even looking for that type of price you're going to have to be buying lots off of eBay of @ least 20 games. Take about a 1/2 hr a day to search on eBay for some cheap lots. There aren't a whole lot of us 2600 gamers around, so the ones that are out there have all the commons already, so it's easy to be the only bidder on a lot of commons. As you get more into it you'll realize that you should expect to pay about double for a rarity 3, about 3 times for a rarity 4, & about 6 times a rarity 5. Once you get above that rarity, you need to do some emulation to decide which games are worth your $. I personally don't own a single game above 5 rarity...... yet. fdurso224 #7 Posted November 12, 2007 Do you have anything to trade? Hi: Unfortunately, no. I figured giving someone a couple of bucks on Atariage.com if they had some doubles of some extra common Atari & Activision 2600 Game Cartridges that they don't need anymore. I new about ebay, but I decided to try my fellow men first. Anthony....

phaxda #14 Posted November 14, 2007 Regarding Activision carts, I have a bunch. I just had a failed Activision auction on eBay (in part because I screwed up on the shipping and it was way high) and I will sell it for $20 and shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...S:IT&ih=014 I also have just about all other common Activision titles. If you buy in bulk, I'll sell them for a buck apiece. I just need to get rid of them at this point, happy to spread the wealth. Let me know what you want. phaxda #17 Posted November 15, 2007 PM'ed. I can't go any lower than a buck a cart; my local store gives that in credit for Activision carts (they are cool). Like Albert, though, they do not care for the silver labels!
