Kokovec #1 Posted November 14, 2007 At work the other day I ran into this monstrosity. http://home.socal.rr.com/kokosplace/giant_...iant_arcade.htm

The reason for making it sounds like a lie. I bet they just wanted to get a better view of girl's butts.

Trust me when I tell you that the folks at G4 love to throw their money out the window on stuff like this. But at least they try to keep things interesting. Shaggy the Atarian #5 Posted November 26, 2007 I wonder what the exact measurements are of this thing? It may not be larger than Namco's Galaxian 3. It would be the largest upright I've ever seen though
BigO #6 Posted November 26, 2007 Hmm...finally a use for all of those rear projection TV's that are showing up in the thrift stores these days?
shadow460 #7 Posted November 26, 2007 (edited) I was wondering myself if this was the largest stand up cabinet. I've seen sit down models that dwarf it, namely the Virtua Racing cab at Seattle GameWorks in 1998. Virtua Racing had eight sit down cars, all with motion capabilities. Each had its own camera linked into the arcade's CCTV system and into the monitor atop the cabinet itself. If that's not enough, The Lost World was a different version that the one you see commonly in the arcade, and the players actually had to sit inside the unit on a rotating seat.
