+Propane13 #1 Posted November 21, 2007 I am curious about this game. I've never successfully baited the marshmallow man (guess I may not have known how back in the day), and according to the manual, there's a scene where you run past the marshmallow man's legs. Is that true? Does anyone have a screenshot of this? How long does it take to beat the game? Is it worth it? -John

For some gameplay and screenshots the Angry Video Game Nerd did a 3 part rant about the Ghosbusters game he is however very vulgar and his videos are most definately not safe for work. http://www.cinemassacre.com/Movies/Nes_Nerd_videos.html He does cover the Atari version a bit in the second one i believe (been awhile since i watched them)

theking21083 #4 Posted November 21, 2007 I have beaten it. It isn't very hard once you know how to play. Yes you do have to run between the Marshmellow mans legs, and I would say that it is the hardest part. You must get 2/3 of your men past him, that is usually where I die at. hairyguyforever #5 Posted November 21, 2007 I've beaten the Atari 2600 Ghostbusters many times. It's actually one of my favorite games for the Atari. Of course, I'm a HUGE Ghostbusters fan, so I guess I'm a little biased when it comes to it. Using the ghost bait to stop Mr. Stay Puft isn't all that hard. When you're on the map screen and you notice your Ghostbuster logo freeze up and the roamers (ghosts) start to quickly move towards the Zuul building, you have to immediately flip the right difficulty switch. Getting past the Marshmallow Man at the end is indeed tough. He jumps back and forth and you have to use perfect timing to get your Ghostbuster to run under him without him touching you. If you can get 2 busters past him, you get a screen of them standing in front of a buiding, crossing the streams. Not as cool as the C64 ending of Ghostbusters but it sure beats the NES ending. Later!
