Gabriel #76 Posted December 1, 2007 Well, three Nintendo brand games instead of four. In fact, Nintendo accounts for half the top 10. Civilization II and Tetris deserve their high rankings. But any way you look at it, Ms. Pac-Man should be in the top 5 even if not number 1 in this list. Joust and Robotron are nowhere on the list. No Asteroids anywhere on the list. No Soul Calibur. Geometry Wars existed before the date in question, didn't it? I'd say it deserves a space on the list more than Guitar Hero, and will probably have a longer effect on gaming to boot. AtticGamer #77 Posted December 1, 2007 I was suprised no Zx Spectrum game appeared. Tetris should be in 30-25 and SMB isn't anywhere as good as SMW, but TLOZ: A Link To The Past should be at least in the top 5.
homerwannabee #78 Posted December 1, 2007 (edited) Wow, it is clearly evident that the people who did this list grew up during the SNES and SEGA Genesis era. Yes they did give Nintendo some love in the top 10 list. But that is only because they knew they would be blasted by the public if they did not. A vast majority of the list is made up of SNES and later games. It is a total disgrace that only 3 games from the pre-NES era even made the list.
