IMHO, the TIA's capabilities are so idiosyncratic that adapting pre-existing tunes for it usually doesn't work out that well, though there are exceptions (I was pretty happy with my Castlevania and Ballblazer adaptations). I personally don't have any trouble hand-coding the notes, and I like that kind of fine-grained control, but certainly tracker software could come in handy for quickly modeling a tune. Just to add a single data point, I use a MIDI sequencer to compose for TIA all the time. You just need to keep TIA's limitations in mind, just as you would when hand-coding. I had some recent success using relative tuning and transposition... this would have been pretty tedious with hand-coding values. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
