Having someone install A/V and power mod to 4-port 5200

Recommended Posts

Taking off the RF shield scares me and I haven't looked into doing the power mod myself yet. Where would one get a replacement motherboard if I screw mine up?

Anyone offering this service in the DFW area? Anyone in the US?

If a replacement motherboard is cheap enough it might be worth the risk to trying doing it all myself although I've never soldered anything in my life.

Did you want to do complete mod or use one of the new A/V boards by 8bitdomain or Longhorn Engineer?

I've already got the 8 bit domain mod stuff.

Opps, sorry, I didn't read your post correctly. I haven't done the power mod yet. It doesn't look that hard though.
