Counting Scanlines in Stella

Recommended Posts

Long story short I have always used Z26 with X26 as a front end. Right now I'm wiping my hardrive on my home computer so I'm using my laptop which for some reason won't open Z26. It keeps giving a pop up from "16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem" saying this system does not support fullscreen mode. I believe I could use Z26 when I first installed it and know it won't work all of a sudden. I hate Vista.

Anyhow I'm using Stella at the moment and I figured out how to count a scanline for a single frame by using the debugger, but how do you have the scanline show while the game is running like you can with Z26? I mean I want to see if the scanline is bouncing up and down while I play. Does Stella have this?

Not in the current release, but it should be in the next version.
