Here's a couple stats for N64

-First games: Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64 (1996)

-Biggest games: Pokemon Stadium 2, Resident Evil 2 (512 MB)

-Smallest games: a few have 32 MB; among them are Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Dr. Mario 64, Asteroids Hyper 64, Charlie Blast's Territory, etc.

The last NES game released was Wario's Woods (12/94).

The last regular Game Boy game was based on a Rugrats movie. They didn't have time to colorize it for GBC, but it was released in 12/98.

Gameboy Original:

(Best guess)

Smallest - (32K) Tesserae, a tile based puzzle game.

Biggest - (1,024K) Zankurou Musouken; a super deformed Samurai Spirits 3.

Which console had the biggest carts? NES?

Define biggest? As in physical size of the cart, or (which I'm assuming you meant) data wise?

Both in the case of the neo-geo :)

Biggest game library is, easily, the PS2. Almost every generation of consoles has had bigger libraries.

The 2600 has something like 650 unique (US) titles, the NES almost 800, the Genesis/SNES 700-800 each, the Playstation almost 1500, and the PS2 is probably over 1500 and counting.

Obviously, this is inflated somewhat by the annual sports titles that started coming out in the mid-90s, but that's not all of it.

Here are some approximate numbers I compiled about a year ago:

2600 653

Intellivision 125

Odyssey 2 49

Astrocade 40

Channel F 27

RCA Studio 2 12

Colecovision 145

5200 71

Vectrex 28

Arcadia 2001 22

NES 772

SMS 114

7800 59

XEGS* 32

SNES 722

Genesis 706

TG-16 94

Neo-Geo 90

PS1 1401

N64 298

Saturn 250

3DO 141

Jaguar 69

Virtual Boy 14

PS2 1262

XBox 600

GC 528

Dreamcast 252

EDIT: Forgot handhelds:

Again, these are approximate and were compiled (from digitpress.com) about a year ago:

GB 526

Game Gear 264

TurboExpress 94

Lynx 77

Wonderswan Color ?

GBC 455

Neo Geo Pocket 32

game.com 20

GP32 ?

GBA 847

GP2X ?

Gizmondo ?

DS 123

PSP 109

N-Gage 54

Zodiac 8

EDIT III: Forgot to mention, the XEGS number is just the count of official XEGS carts. Obviously, every XL/XE game and most 400/800 games could be used with the XEGS as well.

Last system to offer a slot machine game :D : Fairchild Channel F

Did that come out after Slot Machine (Atari)/Slots (Sears) for the VCS?

After. It was one of the Zircon titles released around 1980 or 1981. Atari's Slot Machine came out in '78 or '79 I think.

Looks like you're only counting USA releases. Virtual Boy has a library of 22 titles, SMS has far more titles than 114, NES/Famicom over 2000, PC Engine almost 900 titles...etc

Well, sure; sorry I wasn't more explicit.

This is just a rough glance for comparison purposes.

I'm pretty sure the original Playstation has the biggest game library, over PS2 games...

Just US releases, it's probably very close.

Another one.

Wow, that looks cooler than either the Atari or Fairchild games! :D
