Red 5 #1 Posted December 3, 2007 (edited) Is there a list of games that are original non-US (probably non-NTSC) games? Games like Bobby is Going Home and Snail vs. Squirrel. I suppose you could throw TUG in there too. I know there are a ton of hacks, but I am really looking for originals that I may have missed. I have known about Bobby IGH for a while, but have only recently discovered Snail vs. Squirrel and it got me thinking that I may have missed a bunch (hopefully! ) It's like new releases of 2600 games for me! Thanks! Thanks! I will edit as we list them: Unique Non-U.S. Games: Bobby is Going Home Snail vs. Squirrel T.he U.nknown G.ame Wing War Hole Hunter Mr. Postman Edited December 3, 2007 by therealred5

Rom Hunter #7 Posted December 3, 2007 (edited) Here's the PAL originals list: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MEN...n_sauver=Search Check each game out to see if it's connected with any NTSC versions of the same game (sometimes with a different title). If not: PAL only. For example: Bobby Is Going Home does exist as an NTSC cart: http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=18790 Edited December 3, 2007 by Rom Hunter
Red 5 #8 Posted December 3, 2007 Here's the PAL originals list:http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MEN...n_sauver=Search Check each game out to see if it's connected with any NTSC versions of the same game (sometimes with a different title). If not: PAL only. For example: Bobby Is Going Home does exist as an NTSC cart: http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=18790 I figured there would be some Non-US carts that were NTSC (mostly Brazilian carts I would guess). It's fun because there were so many I didn't know about. I mean, how could I have missed Wing War ? ! ? That looks freakin' great ! I've just added a bunch of must have games to my want list. Thomas Jentzsch #10 Posted December 3, 2007 Check this: http://www.atariage.com/software_conversions.html Unless NTSC versions have been recovered later, all PAL to NTSC indicate those games are PAL only.
Opo Terser #11 Posted December 4, 2007 Go the Brazilian games route, easy way to get those weird games to work on an NTSC console.

AtariRx #13 Posted December 12, 2007 For those of us lazy folks who would rather not click on the above links to just see the entire list, don't forget the Technovision library! Pharoahs Curse Nuts Save Our Ship Other than hacks, I don't think they were ever available in the US and these are truly some great games.
