List of 4-player games for 2600?

Yup, Party Mix supports four player simultaneous action.

Four players can take turns on some others:

Communist Mutants from Space

Decathlon

Fireball

Also note there are some two player simultaneous games like Space Invaders, Maze Craze, Fishing Derby, and Slot Racers

The ones I know of are:

Video Olympics/Pong Sports

Street Racer/Speedway II

Breakout/Breakaway IV

Warlords/Medieval Mayhem

Blackjack plays up to 3 players.

Just a note for those who don't know better: The first three pairs of titles above are Atari and Sears versions of the same exact game. The fourth pair is Atari's version of the arcade game, and a recent, vastly improved homebrew version by SpiceWare.

Also, Casino is an improved version of Blackjack (both by Atari) which supports up to 4 players and includes several poker games.

Finally, the Epyx "Games" series (Summer Games, Winter Games and California Games) all support 1-8 players taking turns.

If you enjoyed Warlords, check out Medieval Mayhem, my take on it. It includes the launch dragon, multiple fireballs, etc. It even takes advantage of the stereo output from your atari2600.com modded system.

My site has some videos of the game in action, ROMs to download and try out on an emulator(though be warned that a mouse makes a poor substitute for a paddle), and some other info. If you like what you see you can get a cartridge of it from AtariAge.

I brought in my 2600 (atari2600.com mod for S-Video output) to work today & played some Warlords & Video Olympics on the huge projection screen.

It was great.

Ummmm.... where do you work?!? ;)

Alliance Spacesystems in Pasadena, CA. We're hiring like mad. Wanna make stuff that goes to Mars?

Really just wanted to work somewhere where I could play 2600 on a big screen :) Not really keen on living in Cali! :ponder:

That sounds pretty cool. I'm starting with Spacedesign next week here in Houston.

Very cool. We've got a brand new conference room that they just built & haven't used yet. Doesn't even have chairs yet. But it's got a sweet projector that takes S-Video input! :]

My coworkers & I fired up Medieval Mayhem after work on Friday. WOW!!!

Much more fun than Warlords. Lots of options to customize gameplay. Multiple fireballs are great. Music is cool & catchy.

All around, much more fun than basic Warlords--thanks for making such a keen game! Well worth the money!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! There's a neat little blue button on the bottom-right of this page :ponder:

Done. I feel so dirty... ;]

This will balance out the scathing reviews of my Panasonic VCR/DVD-writer I put up today--I'm karmically balanced now! :]

PS--the review didn't show up--is there a delay to make sure I didn't use a plethora of curse words?
