sciarpo #1 Posted December 15, 2007 As a big hockey fan, I got this game. I am pleasantly surprised how complete it seems to be so far. The thing is, I do love the Jag, but couldn't Atari have done something better than these Genesis type graphics. It's graphics like these that give the Jag haters ammunition. Anyway, it's great to have a Jag hockey game though.
kevincal #2 Posted December 15, 2007 Yep, I agree with you on all accounts. I used to own this game, I had it crash on me a couple times. It does seem complete other than that, however.
+else #3 Posted December 15, 2007 (edited) I don't care much for Brett Hull either. Sure it's pretty much complete, but graphics are right out of the Genesis. Yuck. Give me Arena Football over Brett Hull any day. Arena Football is far less complete, but it's a much better showcase for what the Jag is capable of. Arena Football is a real 64-bit 3D game. BuddyBuddies #4 Posted December 15, 2007 the CD version has cool FMV cut-scenes, and the cart definetly needed polished up,but it might have been scrapped cause of the CD version, its very easy to score in this prototype ..

ovalbugmann #7 Posted December 17, 2007 Carl has the CD version and I was hoping he would release it , he said there are 20-30 FMV cut scenes on it and had it on display at JagFest 2k1. I believe Clint? has put his Jagfest2k1 video up on Google video and it should be available for download (there is footage of Carl showing it there). Brett Hull Hockey JaguarCD would RAWK! That's why it won't be released, not unless the source exists and the names and teams can all be removed, otherwise yould have to get licensing from Brett Hull, the NHL and the original developer/publisher. That's also why, though B&C still sells the cart version, it has been reduced to just a listing as "hockey" and doesn't have the write-up at the bottom anymore...selling it on the down-low.
