Just bought a 360 Pro

Well, I just bought a 360 Pro... for my older brother. And I haven't bought a newer system for myself. Crazy huh?

 

My Christmas bonus was awesome and my brother is into gaming way more than me so I figured what the heck.

I'm going to visit him tomorrow and tell him it's for me but I'm letting him try it out since I won't have time to mess with it till after new years. Then I'm going to call him on Christmas day and ask him how he likes his gift. I'm also giving him a couple small (cheap) items so he won't suspect. I can't wait to hear his reaction.

Giving consoles is the best gift. Actually it's probably the primary thing I've ever given my little brother... the first one I gave him was an SMS, then later a Genesis, then a Saturn and a PSX... and the list goes on. I gave him a 360 about 2 years ago, and last year I got him a Wii. This christmas I gave him a red & black DS lite..

 

They are the greatest gifts of all.. your bro will love it

Well, I just spent the day at his house.

He loves racing games so he played most of the day and he's going to be glued to it the entire holiday in an attempt to get all the way through before I come pick it up.

He really doesn't have a clue the 360 is for him!

He couldn't stop raving about the graphics and the step daughter and her husband are talking about getting one and Madden Football.

Well, I called my bro on the phone and wished his family a merry Christmas.

We talked for a while and then I asked him if he was having fun with the 360.

Seems he has been playing the racing game till midnight every night trying to unlock everything and get all the cars he can, etc...

He was raving on and on about the game.

I asked him if he thought he'd have time to get all the way through before I come pick it up and he said "No way... too much stuff".

I said oh, I think you'll have time. He was still rambling on about unlocking 22 levels or something like that... heck I don't know.

Then I said "the 360 is for you"... there was a pause and then he said "Really?.... are you sure?" (I don't think he thought I was serious) and I said "Yes, I bought it for you" at which point his wife, step daughter and her family all yelled Merry Christmas in the background! The phone went silent... he was so chocked up he couldn't talk for a couple minutes. I just wish they had video taped it so I could see his reaction.

Once he started talking again he couldn't shut up... LOL!

He made a comment about it being so expensive but he never said I shouldn't have! LOL

Just hearing his reaction was well worth it. He'll play that system till it dies.

Now I just need to get one myself so we can play each other over the net.
