Paypal account access limited while trying to make a payment

Recommended Posts

This evening I was trying to make a payment from the invoice a seller sent me and the payment wouldn't go through.

I found out my account had just been limited. I completed the checklist to get it restored but it still hasn't been

restored yet. I have written to paypal and I am waiting to get an answer for this problem. Any suggestions for what else I should do?

I would send the seller your email from paypal and refer them to your good feedback record so they don't neg you. If they're still impatient, maybe send a postal money order.

Why did they limit your account in the first place?

They limited because they said a possible third party tried to access it.

Get one of the PayPal key fobs that generate one time access codes. Even if someone does get your password after that they would still not be able to log in.
