This isn't exactly a joke, but it sure is funny.

 

I read that at the time that Atari produced Pac-Man, they made 2 million more Pac-Man carts than there were consoles at large. For some reason they figured that everyone with a 2600 would want the game and there would be such a Pac-Man craze that people would buy new systems just to play it. This turned out to be one of the biggest bombs in video game history.

 

And if that wasn't funny enough, has anyone seen this?
